SUNDAY TONIC WITH ANTHONY EHIS SOLOMON "BREAKING BAD RELATION"- Case of Samson's weaknesses

Text: Judges 16:5-19, Prov.6:25-28
There is a destiny tied on every individual immediately an individual is born, but not fulfilling the destiny which God has planned for such person would amount to a wasteful existence. In fulfilling one’s destiny, God always assigns people who would help us in achieving this task because the journey to self discovery is a very long one. In this journey, such destiny helpers should be prayerfully discovered because an eagle flies with only an eagle not with turkey or vulture; they can't play together because it will slow down the destiny of an eagle. So there are some people who we shouldn't connect with on your journey to your destiny.
If Samson would be privileged to come back on earth, what do you think he would do? definitely to amend or redeem his mistakes and errors; and to warn sons of God about destiny destroyers. No doubt he would have nothing in common with Delilah.
Samson was a promised child with excellent credentials Judges13:3-5, 14:5-6, 15:4-5, 16:3 assigned to help the children of Israel but became a piece of bread in the hands of his foe. Read prov.6:25-28,1peter 5:8.
I have discovered that people with glorious destinies most often don't end well, except such individuals have determined to end well and has read history of past heroes, how they succeeded, failed and what made them to be a failure or success. The greatest thing in life is to connect with the right person. Our savour Jesus Christ never mingled with the pharisees, Saducees. The only people he made as friends were his disciples and the sinners, he is not a friend to hypocrites.
Among the seventy disciples comes twelve, among the twelve, he picked three and finally prefer one who is John the beloved.
Samson was a man of great physical strength with great weaknesses too, so when you see a great man, you will definitely see great weaknesses around such individual if not managed well.  e.g Moses, Abraham, Solomon, Elijah, David, Gideon etc.
According to the biblical text, apart from Samson's weaknesses, Deliliah was assigned to destroy his destiny and his generation which she did successfully because Samson never had a child. The chracter of Delilah can be summarized as follows:
*She is very greedy- Judges 16:4-6 she exchanged her love for money, she was offered 11000 piece of silver by five Philistines lord to trick Samson. Also greed destroyed Gehazi (2king5:21), Judas Iscariot, Ananias and Saphira. Be careful og greedy people less they destroy you.
*She is Fake - She faked her feelings of love for Samson in order to destroy his destiny. Delilah is not the only such lady, in today’s world, there are some ladies who fake feelings to trap destinies too. Watch out for such ladies. Be careful
*She capitalized on Samson's weakness to destroy him. Every individual on earth has weaknesses but should be careful who shares your weaknesses or whom you share your weakness to; sharing your secret is disastrous especially to someone who is greedy and fake. Deliliah never shared her secrets or weaknesses to Samson but Samson did. The only person you can share your secret with is Jesus. He will heal your wound, help your weaknesses and strengthen you.
God is great because there is hope, Samson's life reveal how God can use your weaknesses, imperfections to fulfill his plan.
Lessons to be learnt as a youth seeking for your destiny are:
*God can use bad situation or circumstances to fulfill his purpose. Samson’s greatest weakness is lack of self control, and was caught in bad situation Judges 14:1-2. God’s purpose for our life is greater and bigger than our greatest mistakes.
*Free will but not free from the nemesis of your own will or choice. The step you take will either bring you closer to God or far from him.
*Choose a soul mate within your faith. Judges14:2. The soul mate you choose will either mar or make you 2Corinth.6:14-16.

In conclusion, use your strength for God's work.
