BREAKING! Arrested Judges Regain Their Freedom On Bail

The seven judges, arrested by the Department of State Services, DSS, have been released on bail according to National Mirror.

The accused Judges were said have been released on bail yesterday (10th october) night.

A source at the Supreme Court confirmed this development to the correspondent Of National Mirror during a telephone interview were he stated that the judges had been allowed to go home.

This development may not be unconnected with the inability of the DSS to arraign the seven judicial officers before a law court yesterday.

Journalist waited anxiously at the Magistrate Court in Life Camp and another Magistrate Court in Kubwa, all in Abuja, expecting that they would be arraigned but to no avail.

At the Federal High Court in Abuja yesterday, all the judges adjourned the day’s proceedings in solidarity with their arrested colleagues.

According to a source, a particular judge had prepared to sit for the day but was told that the cases should be adjourned in view of the happenings in the judiciary.

The source said: “One of the justices was set for work this morning (yesterday), but was told to shelve the idea since the court is directly involved in the raid on judges’ house by agents of the DSS.”
