We Can Expose You If You Talk Again Former Aid Tells Peter Obi

A former special assistant on inter-party affairs to ex-governor Peter Obi of Anambra State, Benji Obi, has picked holes in the claim by his former boss that he ran a financially prudent administration. The former governor had told his audience at a popular programme called “Platform” that he left a huge amount of money for the incumbent governor.

But Obi said the former governor was being economical with the truth. He said, “Peter Obi should be careful the way he opens his mouth because we can expose him to the public, enough to put him behind bars. Obiano (incumbent governor) does not want to probe him. So, he should shut up.  “We have information that he is lobbying to avoid being probed. What he does not know is that President Muhammadu Buhari is a no nonsense person. He does not take kindly to hypocrites and corruption.

“Peter Obi goes around talking about the Anambra Governor with disdain. Dr. Chris Ngige did not vilify him the way he is trying to do to Governor Willie Obiano. It is not fair,” the ex-aide said.
